The Kidde Wireless Smoke Detector is a battery-powered alarm that provides continuous protection even in a power outage with proper battery replacement. It features an 85dB alarm that is loud enough to awaken most adults yet is at a pitch shown to be more effective at waking those with high frequency hearing loss.
This battery-powered alarm links with other alarms and components of the Kidde Wireless System to create a customized, advanced fire protection system. It can even be placed in a detached workshop or shed and linked into the home's system. Ten year warranty.
