If your home already has a doorbell, and you simply want another way to know when someone is at the door, the Simplicity Model LT Doorbell Signaler can flash a plugged-in lamp, flash an attached Simplicity Add-On Strobe or transmit a signal to a Simplicity Remote Receiver. This model requires simple wiring to an existing doorbell or doorbell chime. Two year warranty.

What else do I need to make this work?
You can plug a lamp or the Simplicity Add-On Strobe into this signaler that will flash when someone presses the doorbell. If you are in a different room and cannot see the flashing light, you will need to purchase a receiver that lets you know when the signaler or transmitter is activated.
