The API Closed Caption Decoder TV accessory can hook up to any TV or monitor with either RF 75ohm or RCA audio/video connections for captioning services. It is compatible with any TV, plasma screen or monitor through a video source (cable box, satellite receiver, DVD player or VCR).

Input: Channel 3 (from cable converter box or VCR) or baseband video and sound (from cable converter or VCR)

Video and sound in and out: RCA connectors
Displays closed caption (second language available, if broadcasted) or TEXT (news or other information, if broadcast on that channel)
Bypass mode on: closed caption will not be shown
